School Counseling

Hi everyone, 

My name is Abby Turner, and I am the counselor at New Holland Leadership Academy. If I could choose any job in the world, I would choose this one! I am so honored to serve the students here. 

I am married to the kindest man in the world. We have two dogs, named Jack and Hazel. We love to take them on hikes and go for walks in the park. I enjoy eating tacos, spending time with my family, and going shopping. I love sour skittles and snickers bars. 

I am a graduate of the University of Georgia, where I received my bachelors and master’s degree in social work. I am incredibly grateful for my education, and I feel it has prepared me to practice social work and counseling in an informed, practical way. I believe every person on this earth is packed full of value, dignity, and potential. I view it as an immense privilege to support kids and their families as they navigate both the sunny and rainy days of life.
