We are excited to announce the nomination window for the 2025-2026 School Governance Council (SGC). The nomination period runs from April 22 – May 2, 2025.

We currently have vacancies available for the following positions:

• Parent Representatives (must not be a GCSS employee)

• Teacher Representatives (teachers who are not parents of a currently enrolled student)

• Business Partner Representatives (non-GCSS employees; community/business members)

School Governance Council members serve as ambassadors and have the opportunity to:

• Provide input into the school improvement plan and budget priorities

• Participate in Principal hiring input when needed

• Support innovation efforts at the school level

• Help guide decisions that impact student learning and growth
